As founders of PPE20, we have the ambition that everybody should have access to the best possible knowledge about energy evaluation and recommendations for swine. Feed is the highest cost for pig production and the highest contributor to greenhouse gasses, and it plays a significant role in animal welfare. We all have a role to play in a sustainable future for swine production.

The article published in the November 2024 issue of Feed Compounder highlights no global agreement in energy evaluation and nutrient recommendations. Diving Into why is a consuming task; however, we have many years of experience in the international feed industry, and that is something we have done. As a consequence, we want to share that information with our customers.

We have a combined swine feed experience from feed mills, feed additive producers, feedstuff producers, and practical feed advice experience – covering the entire chain. In addition, we have worked as independent consultants for +25 years, only selling knowledge, not products.
